About

I have been interested in mental health for many years. I am a 1999 graduate of the University of Delaware with a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice. After working for a time with psychological research, I recognized my true love for direct service. I obtained my Masters in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College in 2005 and pursued a career within inpatient, intensive outpatient, and community based mental health systems in Delaware and Pennsylvania. In 2010 I opened my private practice that has served individuals of all ages and families in the Wilmington, Delaware area.

I am a strong advocate for eradicating stigma surrounding mental health diagnoses, as well as improving upon accessibility to affordable, quality treatment. I am inquisitive and intellectual by nature and enjoy questioning and debating philosophies or situations. In my time away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, music, and exercising my body, mind, and spirit.
